the four children in the knott family wanted to cross the river in a dinghy. (did i spell that right?)the problem was that the dinghy could only carry 200lbs at a time. albert alone weighed 200 lbs. the rest of the family weighed in at a little less. gig weighed 104 lbs and nita was six poounds lighter than gigi. the four children together weighed 494lbs. how could they all cross the river. the final problem, nita couldn't row.
so i told them to solve the problem. the next morning a mom cxame in and said, "i sure hope you have a good snese of humor!" i assured her that i do. she told her son that his answer wasn't exactly what i was looking for, but he insistd that is answer was the only possible solution to the knott family problems. are you curious what his answer was???? ok, i'll tell ya.
teach nita to row and put albert on a diet!
