finally!!! i feel better, good actually! i felt like i was sick forever. i'm still not 100%, but i'll take it! school was interesting today to say the least. my kids really, really, really need to get outside to run, play and scream! i love the snow, because i enjoy having off work, but i really wish it would melt already! where it has melted is so muddy, that they still can't go outside. it really stinks! they definitely need the outdoor time. oh, but there is a good point to no outdoor play time...they don't come in and stink up my classroom. i'm telling you, after every outdoor recess, my classroom smells like a dozen wet dogs ran through! ugh! that smell makes me sick! well, i'm finally home after running around searching for my mother. she was supposed to drop my time sheets off for me, but never showed up at the other center. so, since an hour went by, and she's like 15 minutes (tops) from the other center, i started to panic. i drove everywhere looking for her. everywhere except the beltway! there was no way i was getting on 695 during rush hour. and then i finally got the call. the poor woman got a flat tire! luckily, she wasn't sittin' around waiting for me! a guy from her job came to pick her up!!! i'm glad she was able to get a ride, because if not i would still be sitting here worried. actually, i would have been driving around in search of her, eventually checking the police stations and hospitals. she always calls when she won't be home, so i become a terribly worried wart, when i can't find her! well, i'm off to surf around and such. maybe next time i'll have something funny to share.
